Nebraska Gov. Dave Heineman says he wants feedback from the agriculture community on the tax proposal plan he introduced during his State of the State address.
The governor pitched his tax plan Wednesday to the Agriculture Builders of Nebraska, a group of farming and agribusiness leaders, at a luncheon in downtown Lincoln.
Heineman says he knows the agriculture community won't be bashful about sharing their opinions on eliminating income and corporate taxes while also ditching about $2.4 billion in sales tax breaks for businesses.
