Uplift projects worth Rs 6.5 million inaugurated at Jhampir

In order to work more on the uplift of the community and the area of Jhampir in Thatta Sindh, a team of Fauji Fertilizer Company (FFC) Senior Manager CSR Brigadier Munawar Hayat Khan Niazi (Retd) inaugurated the projects worth Rs 6.5 million.

According to an announcement of the company here on Wednesday, the projects include construction of a maternity centre with fully equipped ward and an operation theatre at Basic Health Unit Jhampir, Solar model village at village Omar Chang, Solar lighting for the Omar Chang primary school, provision of school furniture, renovation of central town Jamia Masjid, construction of water tanks at village Omar Chang, Suleman Palari and Khamiso Shoro.

Residents of the region extended their due pleasure on the provision of state of art equipment by the FFC and thanked the team for the much needed help. FFC CSR programme for Jhimpir was launched in 2012 and since then FFC has been playing a vital role in the uplift of the entire area at Jhampir in the form of multidimensional approach toward addressing the basic needs of the communities with meaningful programmes in the field of health, education, poverty alleviation, community building and renewable energy. It's pertinent to mention that FFC, the premier fertilizer brand established the country's first Wind Energy Farm at Jhimpir with a capacity of 50MW, it added.-PR
