Aircrafts begin spraying pesticides in the Negev early Wednesday morning to to kill a swarm of locusts that have made their way over to Israel from Egypt.
The Ministry of Agriculture hopes to stop the advance of the locusts and to prevent further agricultural damage to farmland.
However, according to earlier estimates, the swarms caused hundreds of thousands in damage to potato farms in the area.
