Angola: Chinese Group Supports Agricultural Projects in Malanje, Uije

Luanda — The Chinese CITIC business group is supporting agricultural projects in the provinces of Uije and Malanje, with the creation of centres of studies of agricultural researching, on Wednesday here said its CEO, Chang Zhenming, Angop has learnt.

The participation of the Chinese technicians was debated on Tuesday in Luanda, during a meeting between a Chinese team and the Minister of Agriculture and Rural development, Pedro Canga. In Malanje, the project is in its most advanced stage as was already built a modern centre of agrarian scientific research and inputs for agriculture to deal with the treatment of seeds for the foment of the local agriculture.

In the future, the Angolans trained in China will assure the functioning of the mentioned centre, as well as will train other cadres of this field, including in Uije Province.
